The Shuttle system’s controls, and WES (Warehouse Execution Systems) software provide advanced algorithms to improve picking efficiencies, storage density, labor, and hourly throughput. In addition, the Horizon™ WES software can be used to optimize existing WMS processes and capabilities at a fraction of the cost.
Reliability and up time performance numbers are tremendous due to having no single point of failure. System components are redundant and hardened for 24-7 usage and all inventory is accessible in emergencies.
The Shuttle utilizes rack and robotic AMRs to store and retrieve inventory to workstations. The workstations can be manual, semi-automated or fully robotic based on each organization’s business requirements. The number of AMRs, rack and workstations can be increased, without any impact on the systems performance, at any time. Additional AMRs can be purchased or leased.
