Conveyco was founded in 1979, and is a recognized expert in the integration of automated material handling systems. Over the company’s rich history Conveyco has had the privilege of implementing successful solutions for companies who are leaders in each of their respective industries.
1979 – Conveyco was Founded
April 12, 1979In April of 1979 John Zeisz and Frank Cocozza established Conveyco Technologies Inc.
1980 Conveyco – The Pinnacle Group
June 15, 1980Conveyco becomes integrator partner with The Buschman Company. This conveyor manufacturer would later become Pinnacle Automation, FKI Logistex, and is currently known as Intelligrated.
1983 – Jim Benevides Joins Conveyco
September 14, 1983Jim Benevides joins company as Vice President of Sales and becomes part of the management team who would successfully manage and grow the company for over 25 years together.
1984 – Conveyco Installs First Shoe Sorter
March 28, 1984Conveyco installs first Sliding Shoe Sorter in a Wine & Spirits environment. The Shoe Sorter is a great application for many Industries.
1985 – Conveyco Exceeds 1 Million in Sales
March 30, 1985Conveyco exceeds 1 Million Dollars in sales.
1991 – Conveyco Expands Material Handling Technologies
July 25, 1991The company is rebranded as Conveyco Technologies to more accurately reflect the breadth of material handling technology offered by the company which includes AS/RS, Pick to Light, Software, AGV’s, Carousels and many more.
1994 – Warehouse of the Year Award for Pfizer Distribution Center
September 1, 1994Warehouse of the Year Award by Modern Material Handling for Pfizer Distribution Center.
1998 – Utilize First Design Build Process
March 15, 1998Executes first Cost Plus, Design Build, agreement with customer and implements a distribution network consisting of over a dozen facilities
1999 – Conveyco Design Build Group is Formed
January 31, 1999A Design Build group is formed resulting in the first design effort for a 700,000 square foot distribution center created from the ground up, including complete facility design, material handling system build, and WMS (Warehouse Management System).
2001 – Conveyco Builds New Headquarters in Bristol, CT
May 1, 2001Company headquarters purchased by expanding TV network (and neighbor) ESPN. A larger and modern headquarters with onsite testing and control panel fabrication facility constructed.
2002 – Conveyco Installed “Top Apply” First Print and Apply System
August 19, 2002First “top apply” Print and Apply System implemented at rate of over 50 cartons per minute.
2006 – Conveyco Completes Large ASRS Project
April 5, 2006Company completes large ASRS and WCS upgrade project.
2009 – Conveyco Establishes ConveyorAndParts.com
September 23, 2009Conveyco starts online parts sales through conveyorandparts.com
2010 – Lifecycle Parts & Service Group Form
February 15, 2010Lifecycle Parts & Service group formed to focus on supporting clients through entire system lifecycle through superior service
2011 – Batch Pick to Put Concept is Implemented
October 11, 2011Batch Pick to put concept implemented resulting in a tightly coupled layer between software and controls system resulting in a higher level of integration and one cohesive system which blurs the lines between “hard’ and “soft” technologies.
2012 – Conveyco Rebranded as “Good People. Great Solutions”
March 15, 2012Conveyco rebranded as “Good people. Great Solutions” to differentiate the brand in a market place overwhelmed by similar sounding taglines
2013 – Achieve a Record Number of New Clients
December 31, 2013Achieved a record number of new clients onboarded.
2014 – Conveyco Enters New Year with Largest Back Log
January 1, 2014Conveyco enters New Year with largest backlog in the company’s history.
2015 – The Conveyco Team Expands
February 3, 2016Conveyco strengthened its integration and execution capabilities by increasing our project design and execution team by 35% to meet increasing demands of our clients.
